TRANSFORMER

The transformer is a hybrid of the GX and Super Skate with the outline fullness and rocker halfway between these two models. The objective was to blend the best qualities of both models into one design. From the Super Skate, the ease of catching waves, stability, and glide through flat sections, and from the GX, its high performance groveling characteristics in small waves. This combination of design gives the Transformer an easy but versatile ride of speed, drive, and stability, with more vertical maneuverability than the typical “grovel fish”.  
The Transformer is one of Reef McIntosh’s favorite, fun go-to boards for small So Cal surf.
